Davis isn't currently a member of this site - but I sure hope to reach him and encourage him to participate.
Sharing info found when I was looking for him today. He's been busy - and enjoying lots of success since his Wachovia retirement.    wink  Irma

Mr. David Jolley, Vice President of C&F Financial Bank in Williamsburg, Virginia, is a 1976 graduate of the Bryan School with a long history of involvement with the university. David earned a B.A. in Economics from NC State in 1970 and became one of the first graduates of our Master’s program in Economics in the Bryan School.Beta Gamma Sigma fall 2012

David spent most of his career with Wachovia Bank, retiring in 2003 as Senior Vice President. During his 30 years there, he put his economics education to work in treasury services, as a capital markets strategist, and a corporate finance strategist. After retirement, he couldn’t seem to leave the banking world, so he served as managing director of Ewing Loan Advisors and in high-level leadership positions with First Market Bank and his current employer, C&F Bank.

David has a long history of service with both of the North Carolina institutions he attended, and even served as interim associate vice chancellor of development at NC State shortly after he retired from Wachovia. He has been involved with the NC State Foundation, the Board of Visitors, the Endowment Board, and the College of Humanities Board. In 2012, he, along with his wife, Celia, received NC State’s Meritorious Service Award, a top recognition granted by the Alumni Association.

At UNCG, David served on the Board of Visitors and has been active each year with the Bryan School Alumni Association’s golf tournament, which raises funds to support scholarships for student leaders.

David is an active leader in numerous community and business activities, including United Way, Rotary Club of Williamsburg, Richmond Association for Business Economics, and Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. He is also an executive partner in the College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business.

Through his professional accomplishments and service to our community, David exemplifies the ideals of Beta Gamma Sigma – honor, wisdom, and earnestness.
