What an honor for Nancy and Rick Armstrong, and for Linda Northcutt (Nancy's sister)

Recently the Smithsonian National Museum of American History added an exhibit that explores "Girlhood"

One of the displays talks about how girls began to join organizations such as the Girl Scouts during the early decades of the 20th century. It features , Louise Davis, mother to Nancy Armstrong and Linda Northcutt (and mother-in-law to Rick Armstrong)  . She was chosen because her sash, including her Golden Eaglet pin are rare for 1930, and the museum considers it a precious object. Rick and Nancy were finally able to visit the museum along with the curator of Fraternal organizations , Tim Winkle.
