DILLON WALKERTOWN - Mrs. Nannie Marie Sapp Dillon, 74, died on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with the Rev. Todd Cartner officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. She was born April 19, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Frank and Mildred Vanhoy Sapp. She was retired from Wachovia Bank, and a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, where she served as organist and pianist for 62 years, and a member of the Methodist Women's. On January 8, 1954 she married Jack J. Dillon. Surviving is her loving husband of fifty-five years, Jack Dillon of the home; son, Keith Dillon and his wife, Sharon of Wallburg; daughters, Robin Dellinger and special friends, Bob Morphis of Winston-Salem, Susan Brim and husband, Mike of Clinton; ten grandchildren, Brandon Dillon, Garrett Dillon, Caleb Dillon, Kristen Dillon, Ryan Dillon, Jessica (Michael) Smith, Jake (Miranda) Dellinger, Jordan Dellinger, Ben Brim, Hannah Brim; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Dellinger and Kayden Smith. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening, Sunday, December 20, 2009, at the funeral home. Memorials to: Mt. *I learned from Jack that Marie's death was quite unexpected. About 10 days prior to her Dec 18 death, she came down with double pneumonia and was hospitalized
