My most sincere condolences and sympathies to the Murphy family. I remember my first 13 years at Wachovia with Kevin. He was one of the natural leaders and full of energy and along with Joe Thomas; these two really lead the way in so many ways to help all of us and to grow Wachovia's business in a quality way.
I'm sorry to hear about this life being taken too soon. Rest In Peace.

What unexpected & sad news. When Kevin came into Corporate Finance, I knew from the get-go he had a strong entrepreneurial talent that it is so gratifying played out in his career. Just a fine, fine man & a really good Wachovia team player. Must have been all that athletic competition & family that shaped him.

Hello Murphy family:
It has been twenty years since I lat saw Kevin. We always clicked when we were together even though I am a lot older than Kevin. I take full create for convincing him to join Wachovia since I was the first to interview him while recruiting at Wharton. Since I had spend time living in New Jersey, working in Philadelphia, and vacationing on the Jersey shore there was always a special bond between us. I wish I had known that you all had moved to the Brentwood area. My daughter, son-in-law and 4 grandchildren live there as well and I have spend much time there over the years. My grandson, Luke, is a star football player for Brentwood High School which has made it to the quarter finals for the TN state championship. With Kevin's interest in sports and football in particular it would have been fun to have taken him to a Brentwood game......I am truly saddened to learn of his passing. God bless the memory and soul of my friend Kevin Murhpy and my warmest best wishes to the Murphy family.
