M. Jack Trotman

Mr. M. Jack Trotman, 89 of Winston-Salem died at his home Sunday, December 19, 2010. He was born in Winston-Salem on October 19, 1921 the son of John Cecil and Maude Bohannon Trotman. Following his retirement from Wachovia Bank in 1986 he enjoyed working in his yard and playing golf with his many friends. Mr. Trotman was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy S. Trotman in 1991.

He is survived by his present wife Elizabeth S. Trotman of the home; three sons Robert J. Trotman and wife Jane of Casar, NC, William Holt Trotman and wife Jill of Wilmington, and Richard B. Trotman and wife Kim of Asheville. Daughter Mary Ellen Foltz of Asheville , two step-daughters Christine Yarbrough and husband Buster of Winston-Salem, Roberta Sweigart and husband Dave of Gilbert, AZ. Eight grand-children, three step-grand children, and one great-grand child.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at Salem Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Strange officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of Trinity United Methodist Church after the service.
