James Daniel Hewett
July 31, 1938 - July 2, 2006

After graduating from NC State Univ., Jim spent 9 years in the US Amy as an ordinance officer.  He then joined Wachovia Bank, retiring 27 years later as a group executive for the bank's student loan financial services group.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Drossel Hewett, two daughters, Dane H Brackett and Sarah H Holmes; 4 grandsons, and a brother, Dykes Hewett.
