Nancy Kay Powell Lovelace, 82, of Union Grove, North Carolina, passed away February 17, 2025. She was born October 2, 1942, in Waycross, Georgia, to the late Otis and Nadine Powell.

She grew up in Florence, South Carolina, and worked with WBTW and the Florence Morning News. She moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1976 and became Corporate Communications Manager at Wachovia Bank overseeing Media Relations, Employee Communications, and Community Relations.

In recent years she has made her home in Union Grove with her granddaughter and family, Christi Craft, Will Craft, and great grandchildren Leah and Will Craft.

Interment was held in the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum in Florence, SC
