IN MEMORY

Betty Beeson

Sept. 20, 1926 - Dec. 27, 2022

Mrs. Betty Brohl McCall Beeson, 96, of Winston-Salem, entered into the more immediate presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.  She was born in Forsyth County on September 20, 1926, to the late Harry McCall and Lucile Perry McCall.  Betty attended R.J. Reynolds High School, graduating in 1943 and retired from Wachovia Bank after many years of service.  She was a faithful member of several Moravian churches in Winston-Salem, most recently Fairview Moravian Church.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Leon Beeson and one brother, Lester "Mickey" Harry McCall.  She is survived by her sister, Marion Cunningham (Paul); nieces, Alice Boone (David) and Tina Cockerham (John); and nephews, Michael Cunningham (Lisa) and Fred McCall (Carol).  A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Salem Cemetery with the Rt. Rev. Dr. Graham Rights officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Moravian Church, 6550 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Beeson.

Eric Stone

Worked with Betty for several years in General Loan Administration. She was a superb, very professional Administrative Assistant with a most pleasing personality. Above all, she was a  gracious, well mannered lady of the South. She will be missed.
