SWAIM KERNERSVILLE - Judith Fulp "Judy" Swaim, 64, went home to be with her Lord on January 27, 2009. Funeral Services Celebrating her Life will be held at 11:00AM Saturday January 31, 2009 at the Main Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Hilton and Rev. Rick Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Martha Anne Powell and John William Fulp. She was married to the late Jerry Max Swaim who passed away in 2002. She was employed for 46 plus years with Wachovia Bank. Judy was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the J.C. Grose Sunday School Class. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Dallas and Daniel Fulp. Survivors include her daughter Juli Swaim of Cornelius; son Jeff Swaim and his wife Daniah of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters Shirley Coordsen, Madge Tesh, and Diane Ivester and Larry, and Daphne Schaffer and her husband H.J. "Tink" all of Winston-Salem ; grandchildren Makayla and Jeffrey Swaim of Greensboro, Jerry Swaim of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jake Fitzgerald of Cornelius; and many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
