Connie was my second father - he helped raise me during our years in Sales Finance/Insurance. I worked with him from 1976 until he retired in 1982. I kept in touch with him all these years and miss him even though I didn't see him very often in the last few years. He was kind to all and never had anything bad to say about anyone! His wife Joan was one of my teachers at Reynolds High School so I knew her before I knew Connie. I also went to school with 2 of his children and was really good friends with 3 out of 4 of them. When I think back on my years at Wachovia - I always think of Connie first and the very special "father/daughter" relationship we had.
