H. Colleen Church CLEMMONS H. Colleen Simpson Church, 82, of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Regency Care of Clemmons. She was born June 10, 1929, in Martinsville, Va., a daughter of Fidus G. and Mattie Brown Simpson. She married Paul Milford Church and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Surviving are one sister, Evelyn Simpson, of Winston-Salem; two sis-ters-in-law, Texie Simpson, of Winston-Salem, and Alice (Arlie) Absher of Harmony; one niece, Susanne Simpson of Winston-Salem; one god- daughter, Roxanne Reid of Atlanta, Ga.; and several other in-laws. Colleen retired from Wachovia. She was a member of Clemmons Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
