LANDINGHAM WINSTON-SALEM Patricia Rhodes Landingham February 24, 2012 Ms. Patricia Rhodes Landingham, of 1122 Bank St., passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was a graduate of Atkins High School Class of 1964. She later graduated from Bennett College and Winston-Salem State University. She had worked at Wachovia as an accountant for over 30 years and was the radio announcer at WAAA radio station for Forsyth Funeral Home for over 15 years. She was a well known figure in the community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thona Galloway Cunningham; her father, Ben Landingham; and sister, Audrey Dalton Cunningham. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Byron Landingham and Frank Long; two brothers, David Galloway of Rayford, NC and Robert Cunningham of Winston-Salem, NC; and her sister; Carolyn Cox of Mt. Airy, NC. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Goler Memorial AME Zion Church with Dr. Seth O. Lartey officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
