
SCALES WINSTON-SALEM, NC Bobbie B. Scales March 10, 1941- April 21, 2012 Bobbie B. Scales, known as "Miss B" and "Nan'a", of 2817 Rowell Street, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1941 in W-S, NC to the late Ruby and Thomas Bannister. Bobbie graduated from Murrell Dobbins Vocational Technical School on the eighteenth day of June, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA and Forsyth Technical College in W-S, NC. She was an active member of Beulah Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board, Nurses Board, and Choir. She served in the community as a Winston-Salem Falcons Midget Cheer Coach. She was also a member of Sisters of James H. Young Memorial Chapter #592 OES. She was a retiree of Wachovia Bank & Trust Co. and she worked for H&R Block Tax Company. She was preceded in death by her mothers, Ruby Bannister and Elizabeth Boatwright; a son, Keith Bannister; brother, Franklin Wallace; and her loving husband, Orlando Scales. She leaves to cherish her memories five sons, Daryl Bannister, Dykar Scales, Orlando Scales, Jr., Darryl (Vivian) Scales, and Kelvin Scales; three daughters, Kelli Simons, Sonya (James) McKeever, and Karen Wideman all of W-S, NC; eighteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Jackson, Deborah (James) Brown, and Sytrania Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, God-children, cousins, many many other relatives and close friends; and her little beloved Samareah "Tin-Tin" Davis. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor L. Bruce Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
