Mr. Lonnie Rosseau Williford, Jr., 72, of Fort Mill, SC died Monday, April 1, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy in Charlotte, NC. A memorial service with Masonic and Military Rites will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2012 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC with Rev. Dr. Terry Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. A native of Burlington, NC, Mr. Williford was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Rosseau Williford and Delia Peele Williford and his brother, Dr. William E. Williford. He was a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Wisconsin Bank Administration Institute. He was a retired Senior Vice President of Wachovia Bank, a US Coast Guard Veteran, a Shriner, a Mason and a member of the American Legion. He was a loving husband, father, granddad and a devoted friend to many. "We will miss you Granddad." Survivors include his son, Lonnie R."Tripp" Williford III of Indian Land, SC; daughter, Stephanie Williford Schmitt (Mark) of Waxhaw, NC; granddaughters, Kayley Marie Schmitt and Mackenzie Grace Schmitt; best friend and former wife, Kay A. Williford of Indian Land.
