Karon Ann Myers April 18, 1947 - May 27, 2014 CHARLOTTE - Karon Ann Myers, of Charlotte, passed away May 27, 2014. She is survived by her son, Christopher Prevette, wife Paige and grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas and Isaac. Karon was born April 18, 1947 in Elkin, NC to Claude and Jean Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Faron, baby sister Patricia and son Ross. After high school she spent many years in Winston-Salem raising her two sons and working for Wachovia Bank and Baptist Hospital. Her final and most joyful work was for Uptown Church where she was a member. She loved her grandchildren, her antiques, the coast and cooking. Services will be held at Uptown Church, 926 Elizabeth Ave., Charlotte, on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at 3:00.
