GOOD WINSTON SALEM Jon Rock Good September 14, 2013 Jon Rock Good of Winston Salem and Roxboro NC, age 51, died Saturday September 14. Jon is survived by Kevin Tapp, his soulmate and partner of 27 years and his two beloved King Charles Spaniels, Wills and Sophie. Also surviving are his sister Ann Smith and husband Steve, brother Jef Good and wife Cindy, nieces Tegan Smith and Jessica Good, nephew Jadd Smith, as well as Betty Anne Tapp, Gaye Tapp, Paul Tapp, Elizabeth Tapp and Jeremy Tapp. Jon is predeceased by his parents, Bill and Darlene Good. Jon was born in Arcadia, Ohio where he spent his youth surrounded by loving parents and siblings, doting grandparents and scores of aunts, uncles and cousins. He attended Rock Valley Junior College and Southern Illinois University.

Jon moved to Winston Salem in 1986 and was a 25-year employee of Wells Fargo, previously Wachovia. He was a dedicated member of Arcadia United Methodist and then Long Memorial Methodist Church in Roxboro, NC. Jon loved reading, gardening, traveling and, most of all, decorating his home with antiques and little found treasures. His generosity and outgoing personality will be cherished by relatives and friends in Winston Salem, the Meridian, Wells Fargo and Roxboro.
