William Andrew "Andy" Tullis, 55, of Charlotte, died of a massive heart attack on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center Pineville. A humble servant-leader, he now resides with his Lord and Savior in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.

Andy leaves his devoted and beloved wife of 12 years, Suzanne. He was her North Star. Andy is predeceased by his father, John Tullis. He is survived by his mother Sally Tullis; sister Mary; aunts Betty Johnson and Mary Steele; uncle Dean Steele M.D.; cousins Oogie Johnson, Mark Johnson, Jody Johnson, Penny Steele and Chris Steele; nephews Aaron Straus, Brandon Appenzeller and niece Haillee Marie Appenzeller.

Andy was born March 4, 1960 in New York City. After graduating from Dulaney High School, Timonium, MD, he obtained a BA in Business Administration from Campbell University.
Andy enjoyed a fulfilling career in the trust division of Wealth Management, most recently as a Senior Vice President, Region Trust Advisor with Sun Trust Bank. He was a man of integrity and highly respected by everyone. He was a part of a wonderful team of colleagues that he cherished and will be greatly missed by them and their clients.

He was a faithful member of Forest Hill Church volunteering the last 15 years as an audio visual technician during weekend services. He was also a dedicated member of his men’s bible study where he will be greatly missed for his fellowship and thoughtful Christian counsel.
Andy was a strong man with a gentle spirit and his friends frequently sought his wisdom and advice. Andy was passionate about his family and helping those in need. He found joy in something as simple as leaving a $100.00 tip for a $10.00 meal. He enjoyed travel, reading the New York Times on a Sunday afternoon, tinkering with the latest technology and even held his private pilot’s license.

Family will receive guests in the atrium of Forest Hill Church on Saturday, July 25 from 11:00 – 12 noon, followed by the service celebrating Andy’s life at 12:30 in the Charis room.
