Martha Elizabeth Salmons-Gill, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
She was born November 18, 1951 in Surry County to the late Leonard Gray and Flora Dudley Salmons. Surviving are her daughter Heather (George) Nelson; grandchildren Kendall Nelson, Gabriel Nelson, Michael Nelson; brothers Rev. Harold (Janet) Salmons, Billy (Diane) Salmons, Gray (Deborah) Salmons; a sister Betty Salmons; Companion Hansel Shook; special sons Dexter and Adam Shook.

I am so sorry for her family. Martha was always willing to help anyone with anything. I remember her as the go to person in operations for the International unit. At least for me, she was a big help when I began with the bank.

Martha was a loyal and hard working Wachovian. We could always count on her to do her best. She loved crafts and I still have Christmas decorations that she made for me years ago.
