Nancy Kiger Barber of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully on February 29, 2016 at her home. She was born November 10, 1935 to Odell and Eva Kiger in Forsyth County, North Carolina. Mrs. Barber retired from Wachovia Bank.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William B. Barber.
Mrs. Barber loved her special grandson Andrew and especially loved being the caregiver to her granddaughter Kendall.
She is survived by her son Michael Barber and two grandchildren: Andrew Barber and Kendall Barber.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6th at Salem Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Street from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

Nancy was a wonderful friend while we worked together in the Proof Department at Wachovia. We had many memorable lunches together and also in the working enviroment. Nancy was a beautiful person and I know she will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss and I will always have great memories of her as I know her family will as well.
