Fred was one of my "teachers" at Wachovia in the 80's about Euros. A nice man - so sorry for his family.

Fred and his years of experience were a wonderful addition to the International Dept when he joined Wachovia. When I first met him, I thought he seemed a little gruff, but once I came to know him, I realized what a nice man he was and he had a smile that would warm your heart. Rest in peace, Fred !

Yes, Fred was gruff at first but a kind and patient teacher to all who would listen. He taught what little I could grasp of trading foreign exchange and eurodollars, a new and unknown term when Fred joined Wachovia. He brought us all along as he established professional standards and with a wry sense of humor. Great story teller and friend to all who had the good fortune to work with him God bless you, Fred, and your family.

Fred was a nice and kind man and alway treated me like a lady.
We were blessed to have him at Wachovia.
