Sandra H. Parker, 68, of Charlotte, NC, died, peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
Sandra was born June 29, 1948 in Gallatin, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Pfeiffer University. She worked in retail banking at Wachovia Bank.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Michael Parker, whom she married August 16, 1969; sons, Todd Parker and wife, Jeni Parker, of Indian Trail, NC, Lucas Parker of Santa Ana, CA, Matthew Parker and wife Storey Parker of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Jack Henson and wife Donna Henson of Raleigh, NC, Tim Henson and wife Phyllis Henson of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Beth Sloan and husband Keith Sloan of Summerville, SC.
She is preceded in death by parents, J.L and Christine Henson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church with a visitation following the service.
Contributions in memory of Sandra may be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte.

Sandi was my manager at Wachovia for a long time. She was fair and she treated all her employees with respect and we also thought of her as a friend not just a manager.
