Mary Limbaugh

Mrs. Mary Church Limbaugh, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away on April 8, 2017 at Bermuda Commons Nursing Center. She was born on November 8, 1938 to Floyd and Nealie Severt Church. Mrs. Limbaugh was strong in her faith and loved her family dearly. She was a modest, kind, and private person. She was fond of collecting antiques, especially dolls and was a talented painter. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, James Limbaugh; one brother, David Floyd Church. She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Pearson; three step-daughters, Julie Pearson-Weese and husband Mike, Mary Kiley and husband John; Alisa Knight and husband Rich; one granddaughter, Maddie Knight; one sister-in-law, Mary Scott Church; a nephew, Kenny Church and wife Terri and their children Tyler and Karsyn. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Obids Baptist Church Cemetery in West Jefferson, NC with Rev. John Bishop officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice and Homecare, 1007 Lexington Ave., Thomasville, NC 27360 or to Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209 or to Obids Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 194 Obids Baptist Church Rd., West Jefferson, NC 28694. I worked with Mary at the Reynolda Branch for many years.  She was such a sweetheart.  I have not seen her in quite a few years but I am saddened to hear this news. Prayers to her family.
