Kanzada "Connie" Savage Phipps, 84, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. She was born October 5, 1932 in Moyer, OK to the late William Clarence Savage and Bennie Ridpath Savage. Connie retired as a credit clerk at Wachovia Bank in downtown Raleigh.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 9, 2017 at Clyde's Chapel Baptist Church, 16657 Buffalo Rd. Wendell, 27591. Burial at church cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545 and other times at the home of her daughter, Kathy, 2053 Cox Wood Rd., Clayton, 27520.

Surviving: daughters: Kathy P. Brammer (Keith) of Clayton, Deborah P. Polk of Plymouth; grandchildren: Jennifer McCarthy (Sean), Allison Lane (Garrett), Zachary Brammer (Brittany), Katie McClung (Trey); 9 great-grandchildren; sisters: Johnnie S. Pace of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda S. Thomas of Finley, OK, Sharri S. Mcintosh of McKinney, TX; brothers: Claude, J.L. and Clarence Savage all of Finley, OK.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hilton Phipps; brother, Herbert Savage and son-in-law, Charles Polk.
