Debra Ann Clawson, 64, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Advance. She was born in Forsyth County on April 1, 1954, to Ramona and Dean Clawson. Debra attended Griffith Elementary and graduated from Parkland High School in 1972. She enjoyed working, cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling. She was employed at Wachovia Bank for 29 years as a Securities Vault Operations Specialist and for 12 years at Piedmont Federal Bank as a Customer Care Associate.

Debra also attended Rosemont Baptist Church in Winston-Salem for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Clawson.
Debra is survived by her mother, Ramona Teague Clawson and her brother, Hal Clawson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel Mausoleum at Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be sent online at salemfh.com.
