TOBACCOVILLE - Mrs. Lucy Ann Norman Staley, 67, of Tobaccoville died Friday, June 11, 2004, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Forsyth County to Lucius Calvin and Cora Livengood Norman. Mrs. Staley was a former member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church and was a current member of Mizpah Moravian Church. In 1955 she graduated with the last class from Old Town High School. She was retired from Wachovia Bank following 371/2 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, L. Cecil Norman and A. Delmar Norman; and two sisters, Lena Irene Tise and Virginia Dare Southern. Survivors include her husband, C. Gwyn Staley of the home; two daughters, Sharon Staley Ledesma and husband Mark of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Melanie Staley Sharpe and husband Doug of Boone; four grandchildren, Marc Ledesma Jr. and Laura Ledesma of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Cassie Sharpe and Jonathan Sharpe of Boone; two brothers, Archie L. Norman and Vernon G. Norman of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Merdie N. Harper of Winston-Salem and Julia N. Lowrimore of Raleigh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
