Mr. George Walter Woodward, Jr., passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born September 5, 1942, in New Jersey to the late George Walter Woodward, Sr. and Alice Halscheid Woodward. George proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Many things brought him joy in life, but nothing more than art, reading, photography, and his dogs, Teddie and Moxie. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, Scott Woodward.  

George is survived by his wife Sandi Marion Woodward; grandson Raymond Woodward, 4 siblings: Charles "Chick" Woodward (Kathy), Alice Coggins (Jeff), Don Woodward (India Bruce), and Ron Woodward (Pam); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service was held March 29 at Hayworth-Miller's Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Wesley Sink officiating.
