Penny Miller

 

 

 

Penny Gail Miller born June 22,1955 passed away October 26th at 4:14 p.m. Penny leaves behind a husband, Bobby Miller of 51 years. Also, a son Rodney and his wife Anna Miller and a daughter Crystal Miller. She leaves behind four grandchildren Makayla Miller, Caleb Miller, Corbin McDade, and Melanie Myers. Penny also has three brothers Johnny Everhart (Jean), Danny Everhart (Elaine), and Gary Everhart (Stephanie). She also leaves behind a lot of nieces and nephews. She was very loved and had a lot of close friends that she could always count on. She retired from Wachovia and went to work at chick-fil-a for several years. She graduated from Parkland High School in Winston-Salem. She loved going to church and spending time with her family. She loved being outside with her chickens, gardening, arts and crafts, trying new recipes, reading, and just making people smile. She had a great big heart and never met a stranger. She was a wonderful wife, mom, mother-in-law, mawmaw, sister, aunt, and friend. She will greatly be missed by all that knew her and loved her. Philippines 4:13; “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 30, 2024, at Bannertown Baptist Church with Pastor Don Charles and Pastor Gary Styers officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday October 29, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall.
