I began employment at 1st Atlanta on Nov 1, 1971, as a Systems Management Engineer. After several jobs in Operations, I transferred to Treasury Service Sales.

After the purchase of 1st Atlanta, I went to credit training and spent most of my time in Asset Based lending. My last assignment was as Manager of Capital Market Operations in Atlanta.

I retired on July 31,1999 after 28 plus years of service at Wachovia.

Any children, nieces,nephews, or grandkids that work for Wachovia now?

My 5 granddaughters range from ages 12 to 21, so they have a few more years to go.

Gary, do you remember working in 1st Atlanta Operations with me. I am Wayne Morgan and I remember working with you. I live in Cumming, Ga and spent a total of 37 years working in banking. Along the way, I spent 5.3 years in the Air Force and 3 years working as a Manufacturing Engineer developing automated manufacturing systems with Alcoa.

I live in Cumming, Ga and volunteer with several EmoryHealthcare groups at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

Lets have lunch one day soon.

When joining First Atlanta in 1971, Bobby was one of my new employee advisors that i could to to for help in adjusting to bank work enviroment. Bobby was extremly helpful to me in helping me transition from a military and a manufacturing engineer environment. I followed his recommendations, which were always sound. RIP Bobby.
