I recall meeting Ginger Combs and Paul Boone im 1969 while on a training assignment with Red Bullard, the local auditor in High Point. I can still see Ginger operating a NCR proof machine. She had the capability to encode the amount of checks and put them in a conveyer tray faster than the capacity of the machine. In frustration that the machine coukd not keep up with her Ginger would get up an give it a strng kick (perhaps with a few sharp words). My first encounter with how qualified you had to be to work at Wachovia.

RIP Ginger. You were the greatest!
