I worked for John Pass for two years in our Asheboro office, 1964-1966. John was a great manager and an excellent Wachovian. I remember him well. I remember inheriting his company car on one occasion when he got a new one. It was totally worn out, but I was just glad to have a company car!
He had an ability to sort trash from treasure. His professional life in the swamp of general services was exemplary. His personal respect for his employees was also unusual.

One of the finest Wachovians you would ever know. I guess I am little biased as he was my father in law, too.

It has been years but I still miss him.
