Emily was more than a coworker..she was a stalwart friend. We knocked heads often, with me in the Compensation dept and her in the Payroll dept, but it was always with respect. She was certainly one of a kind.

I worked with Emily for several years in Payroll, and she was a real character. She was very dedicated to the work at hand, whatever the need, and had a great sense of humor. And she really loved that Ted ❤️. Rest In Peace Emily.

Emily was a dedicated soul, a person you could count on getting the job done and done right. She was strong and opinionated but underneath was a heart of gold.
We were neighbors at Bermuda Run and briefly saw each other in the Post Office from time-to-time, she always inquired about my health and my family's health and maybe a little gossip, too..

I so enjoyed conversations with Emily just to listen to her Scottish brogue. Yep, you always knew where she stood on a subject and she did not always see eye-to-eye with the "higher-ups", but she was the consumate professional in all our dealings. And she could sit down to advise John Medlin one-on-one and be just as comfortable as sitting down with any co-worker. She had a great sense of humor and it really saddens me to learn of her passing.

All the comments about Emily are 100% true. Her autobiography would be an inspiring and humorous read!
