Nelson was a quiet and gentle force of competence and computer savvy during the earliest days of technological transformation in Wachovia's data processing systems. Such a kind and decent person. He was a key player during the development of what was called "Centralization" of our deposit systems during the 70's. We used to walk over to the old Zinzendorf hotel building and play pool during our lunch breaks; Nelson was wickedly efficient at running the table.

I remember Nelson well,
He may have been small in stature however, he was Extra Large in Brain Power and Kindness., Jerry Ayers "nailed it" with his comments about Centalization.. The youth of today take for granted that when you oush a button you have access to all the informatio.
Nelson was a leader in causing that process to happen at Wachovia.
