My career with Wachovia ended with the "Mortgage Divison" at the Thruway Branch, Stratford Road, WS December 2005. Incidently, I began my journey with the "Mortgage Division" in 1975 at "Stratford Executive Park," WS! Can you belive the entire Mortgage company was housed in a two story building? lol!
In as much as most of my career years were spent in the old Wachovia Building, now Winston Tower.... I had the pleasure of working in various departments within the retail division for many of my tenured years. One of my fondest memories was when Wachovia introduced the "Bankline" (line of credit) and the very stressful marketing campaign(s) the retail division endured in promoting/selling this wonderful product. By the way, I continue to cherish my "Bankline Derby" drinking glasses of 1983.
