Brad Cash

WINSTON-SALEM September 6, 1959 - December 13, 2018 Mr. Bradford Dale Cash, 59, peacefully gained his wings on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his home. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC to Emma E. Cash, with the helping hands of his grandmother, the late Roxie Neal. Brad was a dedicated employee at Wells Fargo and The Piedmont Club until the time of his illness. He enjoyed family events, because he was known to all as the "The Grill Master." Preceding him in death was a sister, Jonie Nicholson. He is survived by his mother, Emma E. Cash; daughter, Tracie Johnson; and son, Brandon Sturdivant; two granddaughters, Celeste Legette and Mia Lash; and a loving and dedicated companion of 18 years, April Legrant. Left to cherish his memories are sisters: Loletta Williams, Sandra Williams (Jerome), Andrea Rowdy (James), Santhony Moses, Rosalyn Jackson, Pamela Gladden, Glenda Stover (Steve), Treva Dunlap, Vicki Dunlap, and Jennifer McDaniel; brothers: Jesse Martin, Rick Crawford, and Michael Cash (Rhea); and a host of aunts, great-aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will take place 1:00PM at Hooper Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, December 20, 2018. The family will receive visitors from 12:30PM-1:00PM prior to the service. I remember Brad well when he was a server in the private dining rooms on the 4th floor of the old, glass Wachovia Building on Main Street.   Always smiling, always courteous, always doing his best to be sure that the Wachovians and their customers who used these dining rooms were properly cared for.  Often, customers were quite complimentary of Brad.  Brad was a good man.

I also remember Brad and appreciated his great service and friendly smile..He never forgot that I drank hot tea and had it ready for me every time.

He was a genuinely nice person..
