Conway was one of the first people I met after Wachovia bought First Atlanta - always a gentleman and always a friend. He will be missed.

My very first job with Wachovia was in the Proof Department where I shared a work area with Conway.  We were both students working to help support our education and families.  I will always remember the warm friendly smile and gentle manner that he always exhibited.  My prayers go out to his wife and family.  Conway was a wonderful person and knew what it meant to help others as he passed through this life's journey.

Sorry to hear the news of Conway's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I met Conway early in my Wachovia career while working in the Data Processing Department. He was always quick with a smile and his willingness to mentor and help others defined him as a person. Although I rarely saw Conway over the past few years, when our paths did cross, he always asked about my family. In life and in death, the world is a better place because of Conway, may he rest in peace.

Conway was a dedicated, innovative, and tireless leader who never lost sight of the importance of people to the success of any endeavor. I will remember him as a man of faith, a man dedicated to his family, and a man who enjoyed helping others.

I am deeply saddened by the news of  Conway's passing.  I owe my Wachovia career to his guidance, faith in me, and continuing positive attitude.  He was a great leader, family man, and son of God.  He will always be in my thoughts when I think of my 33 years at Wachovia.  He was my first Manager when in a supervisory role, in the swing shift data Processing and my last in Credit Operations.  We saw many, many technology changes in our twenty + years together, and he was a dear friend.  Whenever I think of great leadership, he always comes to mind.  He knew how to encourage while guiding, how to lead while following.  A truly good person.

I will miss him.
